British lottery and online casino market started to lose clients in 2015
Most of the major online casinos work in Great Britain (for instance Unibet Casino or 888 Casino) but in 2015 things obviously went south. As it turned out, the most popular casinos and lotteries lost about 10% of users last year.
For instance, in 2013, 57% of adult population of the UK purchased lottery tickets all the time. In 2015, that figure dropped to 45%. The National lottery suffered the biggest loss. In 2014, about 46% of all the ticket buyers played it, and in 2015 the number dropped to 32%. Analytics claim that National lottery must be prepared to losing players. Turns out, it loses about 27%-33% of total users annually, so the drop of 14% isn’t that big of a deal.
Paul Hop, chief gambling commissioner of Great Britain commented in this:
'It is extremely important to follow the patterns the biggest online casinos use and make ratings of those facilities. This data will be extremely important at making the documents, regulating the work of online casinos and other players of gambling industry'.
Despite the decrease of number of users, National lottery remains the most popular lottery in the country. According to the poll made by analytics, it was set that out of 1000 man 3% buy lottery tickets on the regular basis, 3.7% make horse bets and 3.5% bet on sports.
