Catena Media purchased Askgamblers website

In early April this year Catena Media bought the largest international website (on English) about online casino - Askgamblers.com. it is reported that the sum of the deal is €15,000,000, what makes it the record as none of the gambling web sites was purchased for a sum even remotely close to that.

Askgamblers.com is an absolute leader among casino web sites in English-speaking segment. The site was made in Serbia. For the last year of existence the web site could attract around 25,000 players who have registered through Askgamblers and made a real money deposit to the casino.

Only since the beginning of this year Askgamblers brought €810,000 to its owners. By the way, only 30 people worked on the web site. In comparison, the new owners of Askgamblers, Catena Media have three offices in three countries and 130 employees.

At the moment the website is already in the company’s ownership, but the additional payment for it will be made in the next six months after the deal was made. Under the agreement, €3,000,000 was transferred right away. After all the assets and accounts will be given to the new owners, €3,750,000 more will be transferred to Askgamblers. The head of Catena Media Robert Anderson commented on the deal:

'We are proud we could finalize the deal on such a big portal purchase. Our company thinks Askgamblers will be a lovely addition to our assets, as the web site is unique' - said Anderson.
