Indian tribes earn up to $120 billion per year on casinos

Land based casinos and poker games are legal only in several states of the USA, however native population (Indians) have more rights in this situation. Currently Indians own casinos in 28 states out of 50. 244 tribes own 479 gambling facilities, 43% of total number in the country.

Casino City Indian Gaming journalists found out that tribes that owned casino in 2013 made $120 billion that year! Fun fact: having a cut in sports betting and other casino games, they have earned about 20% of total profit ($28,3 billion). Most of the profit ($91,1 billion) comes from hotels and entertaining events.

Considering the growth of profits continues, in the nearest future yearly profit of Indian casino will be closer to $1 trillion!

Indians are monopolists in casino industry as they are allowed to open the facilities in all the states. Native Americans support Sheldon Adelson in his fight for the ban of online casinos. Online games will easily replace land based casinos as the more comfortable way to play, considering how big the United States are.
