Playtech Published financial report for 2015

According to the financial report of Playtech company, one of the leading software providers for online casinos, online poker and sports betting in the world, in 2015 its profit increased by 38% in comparison with the last year.

The company earned €630,000,000, the adjusted profit amounted to €251,900,000, which is 22% more that in 2014. After paying all the taxes, Playtech profit is €142,000,000 which is also more compared to last year, albeit by 1%. The improvement of the financial situation is happening due to the fact that the consumption tax, which is used in the work of the most casinos, has been changed.

Despite positive data about the income, Playtech CEO Alan Jackson told that the last year was a very tough one for the company. Thanks to high-quality performance of employees who worked better during that span, the company dealt with the difficulties and increased its outcome.

“A special department of control of the financial performance was made in the company, thanks to its work we were able to upgrade business model of Playtech. Now we’re on the path of expansion through buying small online software companies” - said Jackson.

According to his words, in the moment some part of these deals are on the verge of being made but in case the deals won’t happen, Playtech company will return money to the shareholder to not to ruin the capital structure.

Together with the report for 2015, the company told a little bit about the currents state of affairs. As it turned out, for the first two months of 2016 the total profit of online casinos is 12% bigger than during this period in 2014.
