Totalizator Sportowy gambling operator became a monopolist on the territory of Poland

According to the decision of Poland Council of Ministers Totalizator Sportowy Company will become the only operator at the territory of the country which will offer sports book and online slots services.

As Casino News Today reports, such a decision was dictated by the will of Polish Government to have just one online gambling operator on the market, and Totalizator Sportowy was chosen to be it.

We should notice that the decision was made as a part of new gambling law, which comes in force on January, 1^st next year.

'Most of the online casino users are mostly attracted by the gambling slots, that’s why we think that the government should control this sphere of gambling,' - said Yaroslav Govin, Poland vice-president.

We remind that according to the gambling law, online poker and online casino activity will be allowed from January, 1^st on the territory of Poland.
