Unibet purchased Bingo.com
Online gambling operator Unibet which owns the casinos of the same name - Unibet Casino - have reached an agreement of buying domain name Bingo.com and all the connected gambling services with the Bingo.com Ltd. At the European market.
The total cost of the deal reached $8 million. Earlier Unibet invested $6 million in Bingo.com Ltd stocks and now they bought all the stocks with additional payment of $2 million (€1.7 million) to the owners of Bingo.com Ltd. This deal will help Bingo.com to focus on social bingo business development.
Executive director of Bingo.com Jason Williams notices that small companies are having a hard time in competing with huge corporations in the gambling industry so it was in Bingo.com’s interest to sell their online business. The offer from Unibet was the most honest and profitable.
